When the judge says, with regard to statement "Brady was generally aware of improper activities"

quote:

"I'm not sure I know what in the world that means."

That is not a good sign for the NFL's case.

More tweets.

I don't know how to post twitter remarks, but apparently the meeting didn't go so hot for the NFL. Berman torched Nash, the outside counsel the NFL used, used air quotes when saying "independent" in regards to the Wells report, and even commented on apparently it not being a huge advantage when the Patriots scored even more in the second half.

Kessler did admit Brady could have handled the investigation better, and if the NFL/Brady settle, that will probably be the reason.

So the NFL doesn't tend to fare us well when it doesn't get to act as prosecutor, judge, and jury all at once and actually has to abide by notions of evidence and due process?

Shocking!

Cannot wait to hear the legend Bill Simmons gloating via Twitter

If this was happening to any other team sure, but the Pats are his team. He sits at the alter of Brady. There is zero chance of Simmons being anything other than cable news commentator level unhinged when it comes to defending his teams and players.

Remember, this is the guy who did his best to tear down Wilt in the Book of Basketball when everyone knows had the dude been a Celtic at any point Simmons would be gargling the man with a ferocity that would make a fan of bukakke porn blush.

As annoying as this whole saga has been at least it has been entertaining to watch Bill Polian's repeated butthurt filled meltdowns on ESPN over Brady "violating the integrity of the game" or whatever. His tears are going to be even more delicious if Brady gets away with a slap on the wrist.

Seems like Bradys attorney is going with the defense that the ballboys were rogue. Guess that is why the Pats fired them

quote:

"What I want you to tell me, Mr. Kessler, is whether it is your position and Mr. Brady's position that McNally and Jastremski were freelancing without Brady's consent," Berman said.

quote:

Kessler: "That has always been our position, Your Honor. The reason it is so important is that even the NFL doesn't contend that you can't be disciplined for being generally aware of someone else's misconduct."

I can't stand that douche. He was probably a good guy to the players when he was in charge of those teams, but he's really annoying as an analyst.

this defense is all the proof needed to know that Brady did indeed know what was going on.

its beyond pathetic to try and get anyone to believe the equipment crew was deflating the balls on their own.
