I think ND's front 7 is the real deal and can hold their own defensively against any one. I think their offense is highly suspect. Oregon would score enough and do enough on defense to win though.

Overrated is the cool thing to say when it comes to talking about teams.

Do you really think Oregon is overrated? Or ND? What unbeaten teams deserve to be higher than these teams?

They are both very good teams. Oregon matches up well with ND, but it wouldn't be a blowout. Oregon's offense is far superior, but ND's defense is a good bit better than Oregon's. Oregon would win, even though ND is much improved and way better than most people ever expected.

I think Bama and maybe LSU could beat Oregon, but that's about it.

All of the ND talk will be over next week when Oklahoma takes them behind the woodshed. MSU and Michigan were both overrated and beating Purdue on a last second field goal at home doesn't impress me. And I don't care what anyone says, Stepfan Taylor scored on that 4th down play last week.

If they do beat Oklahoma, I'll be the first one to eat crow. I just can't see OU losing two home games in one season, and I also think they found themselves last week vs Texas. I do think ND can beat USC though

Both are overrated. ND cause they let games be too close. Oregon cause they could not handle an SEC defense. Oregon's defense is easy to score against with just an average offense. Get a team with a defense and an okay offense Oregon is in trouble. It would be like the LSU game last year again for them. Oregon needs a strong defense to be scary. I don't care if ASU only score seven. Their defense is not scary. Alabama would handle Oregon at this point.

This year? Last year wasn't great but 2010 was good and IMO this years is better. Oregon just isn't about offense anymore.

who have they played worth a shite outside of the Pac 12? Looks like everyone on their schedule this year is from out west. I'll hold my thoughts until they play teams with athletes on the line. (USC at least)

Is Bama's D great? yes.
have they played anyone "worth a shite" no.
So that logic doesn't hold up, if you actually watched the games you would know Oregon has a decent D this year.

Oregon's numbers are a bit skewed because they've been able to pull the starters at halftime in every game but Arizona and at WSU

They're still one of the best in the nation.

"yeah. They gave up 25 to Fresno St"

Not a reflection of that game at all. Much like tonight, Oregon pulled off the gas on offense and left their defense out there alot in the second. Oregon was up on Fresno 35-6 at the half, then went vanilla on offense.
