Anyone Have The GIF Of SEA Decapitating Welker?

In case anyone is wondering what I'm referring to, on the key INT in the red zone in the SEA/Den game, Welker was decapitated. How the guy wasn't concussed from that cheap shot is beyond me.
CBS showed the replay several times, ignoring the obvious cheap shot of a "defenseless WR". Even highlighted his route, etc, but ignored the hit. LOL. Yay NFL!!
No, there was no flag on the play. Had the call been properly made, DEN could have taken the lead in regulation.

I'm a huge fan of Welker, but if you're crying for him on "cheapshots", it better be crocodile tears. Welker has made it an art of pick play hits.

I try to stay away from the "refs favor certain teams argument", but my God they let Seattle get away with murder. One play sticking out to me was on a 3rd and short, Seattle Defender was about a yard offsides and they threw a flag. Refs discuss it then decide nah he wasn't in the neutral zone. Your damn right he wasn't, he was practically in the backfield.

I'm not going to lie, I love it every time a bad call goes against 5 head. The Broncos never get called on their pick plays, and when the Patriots CBs played rough with his WRs, he cried to Bill Polian to get the rules changed.

Would that have been after the INT though?

I'm not defending Welker. Could care less...(for the other poster).
It was an obvious hit on a defenseless WR during the play, which would have negated the INT...

I'm just saying...I don't know the rule. I do know the hit came after the INT. So I'm just asking if the INT would have stood and then just tacked on 15 yards on the Seahawks offense.

Interesting, I don't know either. A roughing the passer call will negate an interception, so would it be a similar call?

My understanding is that if a PF occurs during the course of a play, it would have given the ball back to Den. Similar to if SEA would have hit Manning illegally after the pass. INT overruled, Den ball.
Either way, I'm looking for the GIF.
Help? LOL

It probably would just be unnecessary roughness.

Yeah but typically a late hit on a QB would come before an INT actually occurs. But I don't know. I'm just thinking out loud. I'm not gonna argue. Regardless, I thought a flag should have been thrown.

when stars don't win big games, rules get changed
I will say that rule change was a positive one. I think after that we had the perfect balance of offensive prowess and brutal defensive hits
now with the defenseless receiver rules it fricking sucks. To make matters worse, they punish perfectly legal hits that just look rough
someone posted some sean taylor gifs last night and it was sad, every single one of those hits would be flagged

it was refreshing to see, but i couldnt believe some of the hits they were getting away with on Peyton
especially after seeing chandler jones get a penalty in week 1 for "bring the passer down with force"
