The Dab never bothered me. Now when Manziel did his "money sign". I wanted to jump through the TV and beat his arse. Also can not stand the " feed me" motion.

I am tired of the hype more than anything else.

Everything is so fricking important. frick that shite, it's only entertainment, our gladiators.

Funny thing is, that "money sign" was a "thing" for the A&M team before Manziel made it big.

It was actually running back Ben Malena's "cash out" sign from the year before, which the whole team started doing. Here's Malena doing it in the 2011 bowl game (johnny's redshirt year):

He even self-dubbed himself the "cash out king" and wore a bandana for it every game:

It just kinda took off for the team around the same time johnny took off, I guess

The over the top first down celebrations are dumb, but I love me some TD celebrations. Stewart's Grease TD celebration last night was pretty awesome.

I don't really care how players celebrate

The dab will just get replaced by the next fad and so on. Who cares

99% of the opposing players don't seem bothered as well.

It's the doughy guy sitting at home on his sofa, with far too much invested in a a game , that seems bothered.

I like seeing players celebrate.

I miss the old celebrations by Terrell Owens, Steve Smith, Chad Johnson, etc...as well.

It's dumb and these players just starve for attention. Give me Russell Wilson all day long.

If every player was as bland as Russell Wilson and Peyton Manning, you'd have a hard time selling to non-hardcore football fans.

I don't want to hear "You know, Team X is really strong with their screen game, if we don't stay at home and make the right reads, we're in trouble."

Give me trash talk and swagger all day long. If you don't like it, shut them up.

John L Sullivan( bare knuckles was a noted trash talker).

Jack Johnson would beat his opponents & taunt them & the nasty fans at the same time.

Young Satchel Paige would sometimes send his outfield into the dugout before he pitched to an oppenent( certain they would not get a hit off him).

Swag has been around a long time in sports.

He was white, so he's exempt.
