Fox or Ball tonight, who ya'll got?

Whoever wins this battle will win the game. Last game Ball overcame 6 turnovers to get the win by playing superb in the second half.

LaVar Ball

I am proud to say that I have effectively shielded myself from everything about this guy. All I know about him is that everyone seems to think he is an a-hole and he said something about LeBron...and that is it. So media/Twitter/talking heads, you LOSE. I have stayed totally away from whatever this mess is all about.

I have more important things in life to ponder..like if Johnny Football is going to become a Saint...

I don't like lavar, but lonzo is probably the best college point guard I've ever seen (35 years old).
Jason Williams from Duke.

Let me clarify. Lonzo is the best pure (pass first) point guard I've seen. Williams was a combo guard; he was a 2 stuck in a point guards body and more of a scorer than a distributor.

Pound for pound, Williams might be the most dominant college player I've seen.

Shame he got injured like he did too.

I'd argue that Derrick Rose was the best pound for pound point-guard we have seen with what he did his freshman year.

We forget how explosive and talented he was as a freshman and early in his NBA career before his knees bowed out.

At the college level, Williams was better than rose.

Over his last 2 seasons, Williams averaged 21.5 and 6 assists. Rose was 15 and 5.

Williams was a much better shooter. He shot over 52% from inside the arc and 40% from 3.

I would be pulling against them, but they're playing Kentucky. My Kentucky hate far outweighs how stupid and annoying Lavar Ball is.

I saw Williams play those years at Duke and his freshman season was nothing compared to the impact Rose's freshman season did for Memphis.

Rose was the best player in America with stacked talent on college teams like UNC, Kansas, and most notably UCLA with Westbrook (which they beat in the final four).

Still, Williams is right up there no doubt.

The title of the thread was "Anyone else pulling against UCLA". No mention of Lavar Ball til llater.

I am not pulling against UCLA....at least not tonight vs Kentucky. Bruins all the way tonight. After tonight, the Bruins are on their own..

Man they are really going to miss your support after tonight. What in the world will they do without you?

If UCLA won it all - the trophy presentation on the floor would be like some coronation with Lavar on the floor pulling an Ali or Don King pontificating on his son's greatness..."he's magnificent, imposing, impressive, awe-inspiring, grand, splendid, majestic, sumptuous, resplendent."

It would be surely entertaining as hell.

They have done fine without it all year. They will be ok...I just hope they can take down Kentucky.

Why would I be such a little bitch that I'd root against a team because I let myself get annoyed by someone who isn't on the team because I watch espn too much (that is to say, ever)?
