Dude took about five steps to the basket for his buzzer beater.

Damn good game though... Shame it ended that way.

That was a horrendous missed call. That was 2 steps before the 3pt line.

He didn't dribble the ball the last 23 feet and took 1 dribble after half court.

That was ridiculous.

Perfect example of traditional power on their home court getting a (non) call.

The Big 12 refs did not have the balls to make the call on KUs home court.

Color commentary guy said "even in Europe that is a travel, but maybe not in the Ukraine"

Wouldn't have wanted to win any other way. K-State fans cry about refs 24/7, this game will drive them insane for YEARS

Well obviously it was a terrible call. Let's be honest...KU wasn't losing that game in OT though, so in the end it probably didn't matter. Still sucks it ended that way.

Kansas is the truth, Self is the truth. This, what - 50 game home streak? Is a lie.

I can't remember the teams now but Kansas has lost games on opponents courts in recent years on the exact same thing. I wanna say it was a West Virginia game but I dont quite remember. I'll look it up.

Basically, yeah bad call. Only defense is that it happens to everyone and Kansas would have won anyways. I don't really feel bad about it tbh

ETA: it was in fact West Virginia and it was fricking awful

Takes two man-sized strides after he picks up his dribble, momentum carries the lagging foot as he goes up with it. Legal play gibronis.

They are biased. The home team pays the refs, and the bigger programs pay the most. It's criminal and deserves a 60 Minutes story, not just 30 for 30.

That really isn't as atrocious as people are claiming. The first step doesn't begin until the gather is completed. He does take three steps though, not the four or five being thrown around.

Wow just watched it. If that would've went down in a pick up game we'd be fighting

Didn't even have to look to know that KU got the benefit of that call

Definitely a travel, but no different then the all the other travels in CBB that's never called. KU wasn't going to lose in OT

I remember the old ESPN boards, that was all they would do. Think they did it just to troll Kansas fans, because it rustled some jimmies

Definitely a travel. But in real-time without the benefit of hindsight it's not THAT egregious. We've all seen much worse that wasn't call.

I think the refs wanted to swallow their whistles with it being the final play and everything happened quickly. It should have been called, but if there is a bad call at the end of the game I'd rather see it go in favor of letting the players decide the outcome vs. the refs calling a ticky-tack foul on the shot, thus letting a team win the game from the line.
