Me. I've never really cared about it, or other sports awards for that matter. They don't mean anything.

Might as well just have the Obrien award and get rid of the heisman

I certainly understand what you're saying cause ever since Peyton got robbed of it I haven't really given a shite about it

I cared more before but I don't really remember how much

I don't care about it at all. The professional careers of damn near every Heisman winner is putrid, at best.

Jason White won it over Larry Fitzgerald. Cam newton won it over Andrew Luck. Chris Weinke won it over both Drew Brees and LaDanian Tomlinson.

The Heisman is a joke. Tim Tebow won it for god's sake.

Heisman winners have a ton of hype heading to the NFL. Alot of them dont pan out though

Its cool to me though, every sport needs a player of the year award.

at the time in 2006, he was a "sophmore" and that was held against him.

2007 was the year that tebow won it.

Mcfadden was more valuable to arkansas than Tebow was to florida that year.

It's cool for school publicity and for the player, but it's mostly politics, and the media basically decides who it is for everyone at this point. They anoint the person before anyone even votes most of the time, and show highlights until they don't have anymore film to show. The ceremony is just boring to watch, and makes me not care about it as much. I think the only people who are interested are the people with a finalist from their school.

So Cam didn't deserve it that year?

What does their NFL career have anything to do with it? It's a college award.

Tebow was the first player to score 25 passing and 25 rushing TDs that year or something like that. No one was beating him

I don't care for Cam Newton, but he definitely deserved the heisman. In that season, he was one of the most impressive college players I have ever seen
