I'm wondering what you think about Hez so far in limited action. He only plays 14 minutes per game, but his shooting percentages are pretty solid.

They need to let him out, unfortunately skiles doesn't trust rookies

Kid is a freak and will be a very good pro

That was the brief impression I got last night vs. Detroit. He didn't play much, but he had a couple of impressive moves to the basket. He also appears to have good size and a really long wingspan.

What 88 said.

Skills is notoriously hard on rookies. Plus Fournier is playing so well right now. Team is competitive, just hard to find the minutes right now.

Hez plays primarily at the 2, or the 3? I can't imagine many 2s, particularly backup 2s, that can guard him.

Primarily 2 but he plays the 3 as well.

However Harris the 3, plus Evan slides to the 3 when Vic is in.

Strange how they have played well despite Oladipo's stats regressing. I thought he would take it to an all star level and I don't think he even starts.

No, he has really struggled under a skills.

He is now the sixth man.

What's the issue under Skiles? He's shooting under 40%. Does Skiles require too much discipline and he fits better in a free flowing system? I think I've seen one Magic game all season and he looked ok. I remember Skiles as the Bulls coach and he seemed like a no nonsense type coach.

Thibs not trusting rookies was one of the points of contention with management. Even Jimmy Butler hardly played as a rookie. Bobby Portis has been great lately now that Hoiberg unleashed him. Not a huge Bulls fan, but I live in Chicago so I catch most of their games. Not to sidetrack, just tied to the not trusting rookies thing.

I like the Magics better than the Miami Heats and Oklahoma City Thunders
