I listen to every podcast if his but this show has been terrible. The short interviews just aren't working. This episode may be my final straw.

This whole series of his has been him trying way to hard to be anti espn. IMO he isn't funny or cool at all. FOX sports would've been a better avenue for him

Not really. I was expecting the show to be controversial and something that ESPN could never air where they talked about sports topics ESPN would dare not touch. However all its been is some boring, lame interviews.

He was always bad on TV. Besides unfettered bitching about the league ruining the Patriots he wasn't getting "controversial".

He talks about some things on podcasts that arent the norm for sports talk gambling, who uses PEDs and that he doesn't care, obviously talking openly about goodell and a lot more. I was expecting the show to be a compact and well produced version of his podcast but it has been far from it.

I read an article a few weeks ago asking why Simmons is getting such a long leash from HBO on his new show. Bill himself said they should have the show figured out by week 10..10 weeks!. It's almost unbelievable he is getting this long to work out the kinks on the fly, especially his ratings being so abysmal.
