To me, the answer is clearly Barkley and golf.

How many people would continue to LOVE to play something that hates them so much?

Barkley said golf is his favorite because it's the least contact.

That's the reason he never played football. Said he went out for practice as a freshmen in HS and decided to quit after the first time he got hit on the very first day. In the 80s Bill Parcells tried to take Barkley into trying out for the Giants, said he could choose between DE or TE, and Barkley said he thought back to that one hit he took when he was 14 and laughed in Parcells face at the thought of getting hit by NFL players.

Tony Romo - golf

Johnny Manziel - beer pong

Michael Jordan- gambling (poker is on ESPN)

But seriously there's tons of pros who enjoy playing golf in their down time more than they enjoy the grind off the sport they participate in.

TONS of pro athletes would qualify for golf, bowling, etc. based on that criteria. I posted about Tony Romo, and he was an active NFL player when he tried to qualify for major golf tournaments.
