Another US High Schooler breaks 4 Minute Mile

That's 2 this year added to the 2 last year. Hopefully one of these guys develops into a viable medal contender.

I think his 1:48 is more impressive. It is crazy that four out of nine high schoolers to ever run a sub 4:00 mile did so in 2015 and 2016.

as a youth football fan, I can say with certainty I would never let my kid run as much as this kid did during training. Impressive however to say the least.

Yes, he is closer to being a world-class 800 guy than a miler. But that is splitting hairs, breaking 4 is still an amazing accomplishment.

Agreed, Drew Hunter is my favorite of Maton, Fisher, Slag, and him (the four sub 4:00 milers of 2015 and 2016).
Hunter will be an amazing miler.
Slag could be the next Nick Symmonds with his 800 prowess.
