If Andy Dalton had LaDanian Tomlinson and a super conservative coach, he would have half as many career pass attempts.

It's a fact.

Not really. A troll is a clever attempt to get people to melt.

My post assumes everyone is smart enough to realize it is a thread mocking the Harden/Kobe thread.

At least one who responded revealed he is not that smart.

Not untrue

Drew had a slow start.

But you gotta feel like maybe Dalton has peaked, where is Drew was just starting.

It's funny. If 2001 Drew Brees would have been in the draft this year, everybody on this board would be ripping him to shreds as a short undersized QB who played in a gimmick spread offense at Purdue. And then Brees proceed to struggle mightily for the first three years of his career before the light came on during his fourth season. His story shows a lot of teams are way too impatient with QBs these days. It takes time for QBs to develop.

In retrospect that's true. But before he signed with the Saints a lot of people thought Drew had probably peaked too

In retrospect, while my intention was totally mocking the silliness of the other thread, there is some valid discussion here.

After 5 years, no one saw DB becoming one of the all time greats.

Maybe Dalton will become one of the all time greats.

Edit: Damn some of you are dense.

That is my point! There is no relevant comparison. One is an all timer. The other likely never will be.

If some of the people responding had any sense at all, they would realize it is a satirical post.

3 explanations in and they still think I was serious or trolling.
