And did you really just say that it's factually incorrect that Turner is a better player than Granger?
no. I said it's factually incorrect to state the only people saying Turner isn't an upgrade over biased Heat fans.
im soooo freaking lost. can we all just agree the heat are the champions and the team to beat, the pacers are looking great and it should be an amazing series??!??!?!

My man. You're really adamant about the Heat not having it this year. You hate them

. The original point was that this Pacers team is currently better than last year's team that took Miami to 7.

Idk if you made this point or not so excuse me if you didn't...

But this fact means absolutely nothing this year.

It in fact does mean quite a bit. The Pacers took Miami to 7 last year and are a better team this year. Has Miami improved enough as well to keep that advantage?

Tom Haberstroh also said that Turner is one of the worst wing defenders in the game, is a below average player, and has more potential to harm the Pacers then help them.

Just saying...

People that keep pointing out that the pacers took the heat to 7 last year and trying to argue a small improvement by the pacers is enough are lost.

The pacers were not that close to beating the heat last year. At all.

The Pacers were close to winning last year and perhaps even the year before, but they didn't.

This isn't a real argument though. The Knicks took the Pacers to 7 games last year too. Lots of things can happen in 7 games. Teams can play over their heads. It doesn't work like you're suggesting.

The Pacers still have a major problem scoring when they need to. They have the 19th best offense in the NBA this year, which is an improvement of 0 compared to last year's rank. That means a lot more come the playoffs than your suggestion.

No reason that Hibbert and West shouldn't combine to average at least 40 against the Heat

I can make up random stats too.

No reason that bosh, wade and bron won't average 90 ppg combined during the playoffs.

Apparently, you've never seen Hibbert actually play basketball.

Well...I think most of us watched him average 22.1 against the Heat in the playoffs last year.

Yep. West averaged 16.6 so they combined for 38.7. They need to step that up a little bit if they want to win. Only way to beat the Heat is to pound them inside (twss)
