Which is the biggest rivalry?
Or does Holy Cross, Shaw, or St. Aug sneak in there somewhere?

Rummel-Shaw

Jesuit has the target on their backs in general, but the whole League rivalry seems balanced across the board.
All of them wonder though why some schools hours away hate them all so much.

I thought HC/Jesuit was one of the longest rivalries in the US?
Pretty impressive for a HS game.

When I was at brother martin in mid-late nineties it was Jesuit as biggest rival and not really close, especially in non football.

BM Jesuit is the oldest one and has gotten better lately.
Rummel Jesuit has been the most competitive over the last 20 years in the big 3 sports.

BM-Jesuit
It doesn't matter the sport, doesn't matter their record

Pretty sure HC/Jesuit is older and really the most historic. Hell BM in its current form is a newer school than ARHS.

Is this a joke?
There's A WHOLE F*CKING BOARD dedicated to the Holy Cross/Jesuit rivalry. It's the oldest in the state and one of the oldest in the country. Both schools have been around since the 1800's.
Brother Martin and Rummel both started in the f*cking 1960's. And, don't give me this bullshite about Cor Jesu and St. Aloysius. They were irrelevant.
It's always been HC/Jesuit. It will always be HC/Jesuit.

I'll break it down for you in the simplest of terms...
As a Jesuit alum, the only true rival we recognize is Holy Cross. We like beating the other schools too, but HC is the one we really want to beat.
For everyone else in the Catholic League, their "rival"- the one they want to beat the most- is Jesuit.
I know there's some megaphone stuff between Rummel and Shaw, and BM has some rivalry stuff with other schools too, but ask someone who they would like to beat most- it's always Jesuit, and we like it that way.
