They lose to atleast 4 other SEC teams on the big stage where it is all on the line. McCarron didn't have a grass stain on his jersey. Sacked 6 times by LSU alone. Best DL, is a joke.

Stanford is probably better than anyone Alabama beat.
Stanford got beat by Washington whom LSU beat by 40 points. Yeah, Stanford is the real deal

In all honesty, the ND schedule looks far easier now. USC was shite this year, UM was a disappointment, Oklahoma underachieved. All of the tough opponents didn't turn out so tough.

Not to mention BS calls in Pitt and Stanford games that directly led to ND wins.

I didn't say they were any of that, it's obvious they are not. That's why I think he did a good job coaching this team to a 12-0 record, that's all.

This Notre Dame team is obviously limited on talent in his third year and has little or no depth. The fact that he has got them through a fairly tough schedule undefeated is really amazing IMO.

People forget that this team started out the season unranked. Good post!

You could say the same thing about Alabama with regards to LSU and Georgia.

They played a shite schedule and got exposed. LSU played at UF, USCe, at A&M and Bama 4 weeks in a row. Find me a harder one. All would have won tonight.

The teams I posted almost/should have beaten ND. Bama didnt struggle against nobodies like ND did.

LSU played a harder schedule than Notre Dame, I never said different. My only point was that Kelly did a great job leading this Notre Dame team to a 12-0 record despite not having gear talent or depth.

Has nothing to do with LSU. Btw you lost 2 of those 4 tough games you listed and came close to losing to 4 other shite teams and you lost to Clemson.

Wtf do you want, a trophy? LSU had nothing to do with this topic.

Refs held their hands through the entire season and the hardest game on their schedule was friggin Stanford. Should have lost to Pitt also.

One thing to keep in mind about Notre Dame's schedule is that they're the only team in FBS that didn't have a single game against an FCS team or a non-AQ team. The week that Alabama played Western Kentucky, Notre Dame played Purdue. The week that Alabama played Florida Atlantic, Notre Dame played Michigan. And the week that Alabama played Western Carolina (FCS), Notre Dame played Wake Forest. One of the reasons the computers liked Notre Dame so much is that they didn't have any glorified scrimmages on their schedule.

Alabama wouldn't be hear if John Chavis didn't have a brain freeze on the final drive of the LSU-Alabama game.

Good job by them to just get there, really.

That's all that needs to be said on their behalf, nothing to be ashamed of.
