Stanford is very reminiscent to Notre Dame. Skov = Te'o. Ertz = Eifert. Hogan = Golson. They play similar football and would probably have both been easily dispatched by Alabama.
And everyone wants to talk about Stanford, they did lose to Washington who got completely obliterated by LSU. Stanford also lost to ND, who clearly was overmatched by Bama.

It is a great record considering ND is likely a few years away from reaching their ceiling from a physical talent perspective. Not sure they can be as lucky to win all 12 games tho.
