Just posting an opinion of a well respected NBA guy. I have no idea what to think of this. Was very meh as a HC, but at times it looks like he is coaching the Warriors this season.

Well then I don't respect that guys opinion. Gentry has PROVEN to be a very mediocre at best HC and a great assistant.

This is Dell Demps not wanting anyone that can challenge him.

It's underwhelming but I'll see what his staff looks like and give him a chance.

Highly respected around the league. When GS opened the check book for Kerr Gentry is who he hired. Says a lot.

1) That's better than Monty Williams' winning percentage.

2) It's weighed down by coaching the Clippers (where he lifted them to about .500 one year) and the Suns after Nash and Amare were on their way down and out.

3) Great offensive track record in Phoenix and GS. Ryan Anderson is going to love his life again. Eric Gordon will be happy. Just watch.

I know Pellies fans wanted the Rockets retread, but I think they got the right guy at the right time. They'll finish ahead of Dallas and probably Memphis next year if things swing right.
