Alabama high school just realligned

and Briarwood just moved from 6a back to 5a. Can we say the rest of 5a is now screwed. Bwood went to many state finals when they were 5a.

St. Paul's and Jackson are still in 5A so no, not every team in 5A is screwed (in football).

Louisiana reclasses schools every 2 years as well. I'm assuming the school in question is a public school and they're classified based on enrollment, no?

Yes, Alabama has 7 classifications, but does not have a B & C classification for non-football schools like Louisiana.
And Briarwood is Private.

Rebuilding year. I watched them once this year, and their QB looked 5'8".

Also, Hoover schools are about to realign. I expect the football success will even out between the two schools.
