Who is your pick to come out of the AFC West so far?

As a Denver fan, I feel like there's a 50/50 chance we win the division title. I also feel like there's a chance we miss the playoffs altogether

The Raiders are a trendy team. I like what they've done. I'm not as sold on their defense as everybody else is. The Chiefs are like the forgotten step child of the division. They haven't finished below .500 yet under Andy Reid and were close from taking the division from Denver last season. I'm not expecting much from SD. Will end up spoiling a few teams and Rivers will have a few awesome games. Probably end up 5-11.

Raiders aren't just trendy, they are a solid pick.

I'm ready to watch some Marcus Peters in his 2nd year. He has instincts to become a huge game changing CB One of the better constructed teams in the NFL. If Charles is healthy, they could easily challenge for the top seed in the AFC.

I like their roster but have never really thought much of Jack del Rio as a head coach.

I guess I'd take the Chiefs to win that division.

Denver's defense shouldnt regress that much. They can win that division alone on their D. They still have some gamebreakers on offense too. I think they win it rather easily

If Derek Carr can become consistent they will win the division. They improved their defense a lot with Nelson, Sean Smith, and Irvin + Karl Joseph

Chiefs. Usually I'm a pessimist, but we've got it this year.

-I want to see Kansas City play without Justin Houston before I crown them, but the walrus is usually worth at least a playoff birth.
-Oakland has a lot of talent, but I'm not sure if Del Rio is gonna be the guy to see them make the leap.
-Denver still has a top 3 roster and a top 3 coaching staff. I'm gonna roll with them on this one via tie-break.

All 3 could win 10 games with the AFC/NFC South divisions on the menu.

Jacksonville was 68-71 when Del Rio was the head coach, and that includes Del Rio's final year, when they cut Gerrard before week 1 and the team was 3-8 when JDR got fired.

Jacksonville has gone 16-53 since they fired Del Rio.

The Raiders, perennial losers from '03 - '15, with only two 8-8 years in '10 and '11 to punctuate the misery, went 7-9 in Del Rio's first year.

I've always thought Del Rio was a good coach, and with a solid (but still developing) QB in Carr, I think he's going to be very successful in Oakland/LA/Las Vegas

Broncos (too much talent on offense and defense)
Chiefs - WC

Jacksonville played in a fairly weak division and he only made the playoffs twice. Great defensive coordinator, mediocre head coach. I don't think how bad other coaches have been should prop him up necessarily. Reggie McKenzie is the all-star there.

This!

Chiefs will take it this year. Depth at most key spots.

Denver with Sanchez will not do anything

Kc also went on a crazy arse run during the year. I don't think it's sustainable.

They had bad luck at the beginning of the year, especially after that loss to Denver that they gave away in the last minutes. They are good. They'll win the division.

Raiders seem like that trendy pick that starts listening to their own hype and ends up massively disappointing. It's a Dolphins yearly tradition

I just see them struggling a bit early before figuring things out.
