Kid in question (my brother) has only played soccer. I want him to play football and he is very small. What are some tips or exercises I should put him through ? Field goals, maybe kickoffs

Kicking a football is a lot different than kicking a soccer ball. Teach him the basics:

-Line up directly behind the ball.
-Kick with the center of the toe of the shoe, not a sweeping motion as in soccer.

Not just kick, but to kick to kick. Sorry, I've got nothing for you.

Why do you want your brother to play football? Seems suspect.

I'm more confused by why he wants him to kick kick field goals but only maybe kickoffs.

Get the Yan Stenerud tee from any sporting goods store and follow the instructions in the booklet that comes with it. Stutter step, torque step, final step, follow through.

Continue playing soccer, it will come naturally from there. How old is he? I have no idea how strong his leg is, but he can kick for many high school teams by being able to make extra points consistently.

The pros always take 3 steps back, then 2 to the side. Didn't miss a FG during flag football using that technique. Never kicked before. Just play soccer.

Start by kicking footballs on a regular basis then have him attend a summer kicking camp. There are some youtube videos that show the basics. It is different than kicking a soccer ball but is still pretty similar. Getting the ball up in the air quickly is something you have to work on. It took me about 6 months to go from never kicking a football to becoming all district.
