The weed jokes are tired. Gordon has failed multiple tests over many years dating back to his Baylor days. There is a reason he had to be a supplemental draft. He entered the NFL in stage 2 because of his drug issues in college. That is why he suspended last year for codeine and even that was reduced. The dude is a repeat frick up. I hope he gets to play, but this should not be a benchmark compared to Rice or any other case. Remember, the first failed drug test has no penalty.

Asiata would get the bulk of carries. I think Jerick McKinnon has more upside. Patterson's role would not change much.

From a questionable site:

quote:

Sources tell the Factor NFL player Adrian Peterson has been indicted by a Montgomery County Grand Jury. We’re told the charges stem from allegations Peterson, who plays for the Minnesota Vikings, beat his young son. Phil Grant with the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office says they can’t comment on the case until a suspect is in custody. However, Peterson’s attorney Rusty Hardin confirmed the indictment to FOX 26 but declined to comment. Grant says once he’s cleared to make a statement on the issue he will call me back. Once source says there are photos of the child’s injuries now in the possession of investigators with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

This. Like I said on the Fantasy Sports Board, I would like to know whether he actually beat his kid (punch, kick, throw down stairs), or did he give his kid a deserved arse whoopin that left some mark and the mother went ape shite over it. Will need to see the pictures to know for sure.

ironic, wasn't it a son that died or drowned or what was the previous story with his kid?

NFL has already asked and have been denied picture privileges.

I am hoping it is something like the kid fell down or out of a chair when Peterson left the room or something. I am nervous.

Sources say Peterson was first ‘no billed’ by the grand jury when the prosecutor first presented this case but the District Attorney’s office took it a second time and this time the panel in Montgomery County accepted the criminal charge.

Nice

Peterson's son offered the pictures but the NFL only gets information from reliable sources such as law enforcement
