This reminds me of last year when "his" toddler died and everybody was so crushed for him and he was like "umm... yeah it sucks" and you could pretty much tell that he had never even known the kid or spent more than an hour with him tops.

AP's true colors coming out.

One less bill to pay for the next 18 years.

Assuming that it was disciplining and not abuse, then I will be so butthurt if he misses any time.

If that is all it was and the didn't go ape shite on the kid then nothing wrong with a kid when they need it. I didn't get switches I got leather belts. Hell I can remember when teachers were allowed to give "licks" with paddles in school. WTF is wrong with this country.

If he was just giving good ole fashioned parenting, im all for AP. If he was actually beating the kid I hope he rots in hell

Umm... the "Good Book" was rather ambiguous about the shades of grey contained within your statement.

What's "parenting" 50 years ago could be "beating" today. What's "parenting" in the African American community could be "abuse" when MSNBC/TMZ/ESPN gets the pictures.

And see, no one would even be reporting this shite if goodell wasn't so god damn insistent on "cleaning up the league"

Player conduct policy is probably the biggest indictment against him

I got a good paddling one time for biting my sister on her arm (she was messing with my Lego castle).

The lack of discipline in today's kids is going to be a major problem IMO, and I'm only fricking 25. Young kids today don't learn lessons for being insolent little shitstains and that's going to carry over into adulthood.

It's why Asian kids and Jewish kids are running circles around other ethnic groups for decades now. Strong families.

Cleaning up a league always makes it look dirty. Look at baseball, cycling, and track with their drug cleaning and how much dirty laundry it brought to the forefront.

The weird thing is that Rice is being made an example while others get "off the hook".

I totally agree

Remember when the NFL used to promote their players and their charitable acts?

It's not a league of thugs but it's made to look that way, and even if it were...who cares?
