No thread for this yet, so figured I'd go ahead and start it.

Is it possible that Navy is looking ahead to Army next week? It sounds weird to be looking ahead of a conference championship game, but Army is the biggest game on their schedule every year.

ETA: This game is over unless some miracle happens. Unless this somehow gets interesting, I'm done updating the score in this thread because I'm going to watch interesting games instead.

I get it since the service academies have different priorities, but you'd think a chance at a bigger bowl than their norm would have them up for the game.

I really want Navy to win this game but I don't think they are going to

I imagine that being the class to lose to Army and break the streak would outweigh the delight of even a New Year's Day bowl.

It's early. I think Navy wins by a TD.

If you're a triple option team, i understand a lot of the offense is predicated on fake handoffs, but no one is buying a handoff to a fullback on 4th and 7

Temple has a decided advantage on the LOS like Notre Dame did against Navy. Unlike Notre Dame, they're taking advantage of it

This game is over. I hate to see it, as I wanted to see chaos in the NY6 bowl games.

Temple has a very good defensive front. That can stop the option.

AAC is surprisingly deep. Navy, Temple, Houston, Memphis, and USF are all capable of beating each other on any given day. And we've seen what Houston can do out of conference (the others have decent OOC wins too).

Bad day for the conference, though. Now WMU and their weak schedule gets the Cotton.
