A woman at an NBA game gets nailed in the face by the basketball

Based purely off the 3 family members appearance...I'm thinking the back story is something like this:
Daughter works for a law firm. A partner knows that the daughter's dad is a big Hornets fan. Gives her 3 tickets behind the bench.
Dad won't go unless Mom agrees to go too. Mom is all, "I don't even like basketball."
Daughter gets pissy, "my boss gave us these tickets. we HAVE to use them!"
Mom finally reluctantly agrees. Mom and Daughter are looking at an out-of-town relatives facebook posting about chicken spaghetti recipes.
Dad is checking out the cheerleaders.
Wham.

If you have awesome seats at a cool venue watching some of the best athletes around, and you spend your time there playing on your phone, you deserve a ball to the face.
