A current all-NBA team would wreck the dream team

I know the old timers and the "basketball was better in the 90s (news flash- basketball is played at a much higher level now) guys wil laugh and hate this, but it's true.
Players are bigger, more athletic, and more efficient in today's game and some historic talents are in their prime. If you factor in how good the players are in their given years (ie: 92 Magic and Bird were far from prime Magic and Bird) it's an easy decision. Nostalgia from how epic that 92 team was will fog basic logic for most but explain how this team wouldn't beat 1992 USA (all players in their 1992/2015 prime)
Westbrook/Curry
Lebron/Harden/Klay
Durant/Giannis
AD/Cousins/Ibaka
Marc Gasol/Deandre Jordan
I'm putting DJ on here because I'd like to use him in spurts off the bench for defense against the 92 bigs. Ibaka for the same reason and he can stretch the floor. Greek Freak because of his size/versatility.
Yes these aren't all Americans, but the 92 Dream Team was essentially the NBA best , as foreign basketball was shite. If it would suit the MSB, I'd make this a USA team by replacing Gasol and Ibaka with Dwight and Blake Griffin, and replace Giannis with Kawhi or Paul George depending on how he is post injury (again because of their size/versatility)

Lotsa time on your hands tonight eh?

Obviously you never saw the "old" players play because if you did you realize how stupid your post was before you hit the submit button.

It depends on if using 90's referees or current referees. These pussies today couldn't survive in the 90's NBA.

The soft players of today wouldn't be able to handle the physicality of that team.
Also, Michael Jordan.
Also, Michael Jordan.

Magic would own Westbrook.
Also, Ewing/Robinson and Barkley/Malone would dominate inside.

i think it would be a good game. But its stupid to include international players on the current team.
and id put curry or CP3 over westbrook. Westbrook is too selfish to lead a team vs a team like the Dream team

I bet if track wasn't timed, people would say today's sprinters couldn't measure up to Carl Lewis when high schoolers are running better times.

Lol there it is. Wondering how long it would take before this was mentioned. Westbrook just had 49,16,10 after having surgery for a hole in his face (oh and 92 doesn't have a guy who could guard him).
Lebron could play the 1-3 at 6'8 260.
But yeah, I'm sure 92 is just too "strong" for these softies ( who only flop because it gets called. They are all smart players and would adjust their games according to how the whistles are going)

I actually agree, but your roster is questionable at best.
12 man roster should have:
PG: Curry, Paul, Westbrook
SG: Harden, Thompson
SF: Lebron, Durant
PF: Davis, Griffin, Aldridge
C: Gasol, Cousins
If we're doing only Americans I'd probably put Melo on there for Gasol.

92 Magic doesn't belong on the same floor as Westbrook
