No change in my top 5, so I added 5 more

1. KANSAS (1-7) (NC): Got their asses kicked. Again.
2. IOWA STATE (1-7) (NC): Their 1-7 is much more "impressive" than Kansas' 1-7.
3. RUTGERS (2-6) (NC): A very successful bye week.
4. ILLINOIS (2-6) (NC): Lost by 23 at home to Minnesota.
5. MISSOURI (2-6) (NC): Lost at home by 14 to Kentucky. It wasn't even that close.
6. ARIZONA (2-6): Stanford was in a tailspin. Yesterday they beat Arizona by 24. At Arizona.
7. MICHIGAN STATE (2-6): 6 game losing streak. 0-5 in the B1G. Only FBS win is over Notre Dame.
8. OREGON STATE (2-6): Played Washington State tough, but they did not win.
9. PURDUE: (3-5): Lost 62-24 to Penn State. Worst 3-5 P5 team in America. They've beaten E. Kentucky, Nevada and Illinois.
10. MISSISSIPPI STATE (3-5): Struggled with Samford. Probably won't win another game this year. I don't know how they beat South Carolina.

HONORABLE MENTION: Duke

Kansas and Iowa State have legitimate excuses for being so terrible without a recruiting base, tradition, or fans who give a shite. Illinois and Rutgers should be perennial mid pack Big Ten teams based solely on location.

Kansas, Iowa State, Illinois, Missouri, and Purdue are all adjacent states. Indiana has a case as well. And Mississippi is less than 100 miles from Missouri at their closest point, I believe.

Virginia probably should be honorable mention since they're 2-6. However, they beat Duke, they also had a shot against Louisville.

And if they played today, I think they'd definitely beat Purdue and probably beat State. They are not as bad as they were in early September.

ISU is very young and inconsistent. They'll get a bowl game next year if they keep trending how they are.

There's a ton of talent in the Chicago suburbs that Illinois is not getting even close to the amount they should be. If they got 3 top ten Illinois prospects a year, they'd be in great shape. It's rare for them to even get one. And I know Champaign is a couple hours away, but it's a clear state flagship.

It's slowly changing with Lovie. They have real talent listening with a few solid commits both in Chicago and St Louis.
