quote:

Why? What have you heard are the issues?

some schools trying to railroad their self serving will upon the whole LHSAA...

half of the start up of the play in your class was started by a catholic league principal or 2 when the talk got serious of putting curtis in 5a just for football... of course this was before katrina...

then after katrina playing up was a benefit to the catholic league...

letting them play up ONE class is a proposal.. which basically pits 2a,4a and 5a vs 3a... but that gets the catholic league off the hook because next go around all of their former memebers will either be 4a or 5a...

and another proposal to split "selective admissions" schools from non selective admissions schools....

the two principals pushing these may well could either alienate themselves and their goals or cause a split...

and the LHSAA is not doing itself any favors with how they have handled some other issues..

the LHSAA needs a major overhaul....

fortunately most of the principals see the two proposals as what they are - totally self serving.. .many principals are getting together to come up with a if you play up you play all the way up or - a football only play up....

making the 2a and 1a schools deal with curtis and eca has been shameful.....
