West Monroe is 3-2 against Acadiana in the last decade. Acadiana won 19-14 and 21-14. Yep...they own WM.

Jalen Nixon is being offered as an athlete. Probably a linebacker.

He had some pretty bad passes from an accuracy standpoint. Hope it was just a bad game for him.

I'm not worried about his qb skills. We signed two qbs already and we have Terrance Broadway with 3 years left and Gautier with one left.

West Monroe usually shuts down high ranked running backs - they typically (the rb's) go on and have good college careers.

In short, don't change for the negative a ranking of a known good running back against West Monroe.....however, I can tell you a rb that gives WM fits defensively - you need to look at him really good. If I remember correctly both the honey badger and Claiborne gave WM fits in h.s. (they lost, but their presence was felt).

Claiborne didn't play WM. Mathieu damn near beat WM by himself and that was the WM team that won 30-0 in the Dome. Jacob Hester ran for 251 AT Rebel Stadium.

He looks like a TE to me.

Yeah, LB or TE seems most likely. He's not fast enough for safety or runningback and can't throw well enough for qb. He's a good athlete though.

Bad matchup for Curtis. I don't think they reached 100 yards until the 4th quarter the last time WM played them. Passing teams give WM fits. Option teams typically get shut down. Even Acadiana had to pass last year to score.

In order to beat JC, you need to have athletes and be disciplined. That's exactly what Neville and WM have. I couldn't see Curtis beating either.

well if you want to get literal with the south(below alexandria) leads the north (above alexandria) in all classifications all time 196-131-1. The one is for pineville.

Since 2000 the south still leads 38-22 in all classes

As far as Public-Private-Lab schools its:
237-85-6 All time &
31-29-0 since 2000

Now...how many schools are in the South vs the North? Typically 10-11 districts right? 1-2 districts in the North? So 10-20% of the schools with 40% of the titles? I'll take it. Take away Curtis and it probably goes to 50-50

carencro was big burger king big. no where even close to the conditioning of west monroe, and they were not even close to the best team west monroe faced all year. ouachita and barbe were both much better.

Ya Ya, we know South LA, does and should leave with most title per year. As JJ stated look at the school in that area vs North, huge difference.

Someone with more time on there hands to investigate, tell us when was the last time 1 Parish had 3 State Titles in one year?

River Oaks lost in their title game or it would've been 4 state titles within 12 miles.

Thank God they didn't or South LA would be really pissed. Plus it wouldn't have counted since it would have been won in Mississippi.

ok? If anything that proves my point. More schools in south LA means the athletes are more spread out, not to mention there is way more private schools down south. You are ignorant if you think that the North has better athletes.

once again the south leads all time and in the last 10 years
