Defensive backs Jimmie Ward and Jaquiski Tartt, high picks from the 49ers’ past two drafts, have embraced hands-on coaching from the man who brought them to the 49ers, general manager Trent Baalke.

That tutoring apparently doesn’t bother Ward nor Tartt, who were high school teammates in Mobile, Ala.

“He comes down to practice a lot. He’s like another coach,” said Ward, last year’s first-round draft pick. “Sometimes I make a mistake and be like, ‘Coach Trent?’

“He’s correcting my techniques, too, when I’m on the field,” Ward added. “He’s a pretty good guy. I like him. I don’t mind that (coaching).”

“When you see him, he’s always going to coach something, and you have to be ready for it,” Tartt said of Baalke. “He’s pretty cool.”

No wonder he ran off harbagh and promoted tomsula. He fancies himself a coach.

I thought it was the Niners ownership group that ran out Harbaugh.

Do you know how incredibly difficult it is to run a hardware store and coach and NFL team at the same time? Especially when having to deal with them damn youths drawing dicks in the bathroom. I bet Jimmy Tomsula appreciates the help.

In the words of the Dan LeBetard show, Tomsula looks like the guy who takes your mom bowling on her first date after an ugly divorce that ended 20 years of a painful marriage.

This is what happens when you hire a mechanic from West Orange to be your head coach. Guy needs the extra hand.

Niners are such a shitshow, it's depressing. They could hire Joe Alleva and it would be an upgrade, that's how bad things are.
