That one cards fan had a helmet on. Good planning by him.

Hopefully they were all banned from the stadium for life.

I think its a combination but the guy in the light red cardinals t-shirt looks to have blood all over him at 1:14

If this was in the Superdome - nite sticks and tazers would be flying all over.

Fat arse #90 in the black jersey got some dirty cheap shots in

that's the section where they usually put wheelchair-bound and other handicapped fans. i was surprised as hell to see a punch come from those guys. but i guess i shouldn't be.

49ers fans last few years: trashballs
cards fans from the west valley: trashballs

I've heard NFL stands have been filled with drunk idiots for years and its been getting worse as good fans are increasingly watching at home.

The quality differential of fans at NFL vs. NCAA grows larger year after year. It's obviously not cheap to go to NFL games, so I'm not sure if anything will really change, as trash already fork over the money to attend.

his is a major problem with football stadiums and alcohol and it happens way too much. no way I would take my kids to a football game.

This is the trash of the trash. there should be harsher penalties legally for fighting. NFL stadiums need to have more boots on teh streets in every section of the stadium to stop the escalating trashtalking in teh stands before it gets out of hand.

Generally, you'll be ok if you're on a lower level. Upper decks is where it gets rough. It also depends on the stadium and team. I can't see this happening at Jerry World, for instance.

Jerry World is on the other end of the spectrum IMO. It's so banal and corporate that the atmosphere is awful (though obviously in a nice setting). My last outing was Falcons Saints a few weeks ago, and for a rivalry it was well behaved, although fans of both were pretty rough in appearance and manner. Will be interesting to see if the new stadium eliminates some of that.

He was trying to defend that S.A.F.E. guy who was getting choked by that 49ers bastard.

I'd be happy to buy him a beer for that.

I think the guy bleeding was the dude in the light red shirt with the backwards cap. He fell on top of everyone down the stairs and then took a few punches to the ear area which I think is where the blood was coming from.
