Yes Kyrie played an amazing game, but Lebron had an absolute classic performance. Game 6 at Boston, Game 5 at Detroit, and now this one. One of the greatest Finals' performances of all time, like it or not

Game 5 in Detroit will forever be his masterpiece but he was awesome tonight.

I don't think he'll get the credit he's due for this game.

Must win game, on the road at an arena where no one ever wins, let alone a playoff game.

Kyrie needs equal props for his performance as well.

Definitely one of the best performances when facing elimination ever. Defended all 5 positions, too. Just incredible.

Agreed because of his age and team surrounding him, but damn, this is probably one of the 3-5 best games he's ever played

LeBron James w/ 36/12/6. Since '03, only players to match those #s in Finals: LeBron ('15 Game 2), LeBron ('15 Game 3) & LeBron ('15 Game 5)

LeBron James's current stat line - 38P, 13R, 6A, 3S, 3B - hasn't been matched in all 5 categories in the playoffs since at least 1984.

Hard to argue but I'd give the nod to 2012 game 6 AT Boston

Yeah LeBron went and dunked on KG on the first possession in that game.

There wasn't enough lube in the world for what he was about to do.

He had the same face tonight as he had that night in Boston. Just incredible

Boston game 6 due to the stakes.

The entire Miami blueprint was on the line.

Yeah it's funny you say that because that's what I thought. LeBron was quiet and by himself. It's his Super Saiyan look.

I don't think he smiled the entire night

I have to give the nod to Kyrie tonight, though. He made really tough shots. He has done it this whole series, really. Dude can literally score from anywhere when he's in the game.

I will give credit where it is due cause there is no denying that both Lebron and Kyrie showed up and showed out tonight

great performance. i'd still put it behind game 6 in boston and game 5 in detroit. those two games were other worldly and he didn't have help from another superstar like he did tonight.

might also put it behind game 7 against san antonio in 2013, simply because it was game 7 of the nba finals.

very likely a top 4 or 5 postseason game of lebron's career. amazing.

that's the thing. lebron played one of the best 5 postseason games of his career, and you could maybe make the argument that irving was even better tonight.

to be clear, i wouldn't make that argument. i think lebron was better all around when you consider his defense and rebounding. but irving shot 70 fricking percent from the field! that's ridiculous. the level of difficulty on some of his shots was unreal. and they just kept going in and going in and going in.

Game 6 at Boston was bigger. The mental toughness to go out and play the way he did on the road, elimination on the line, and after the way 2011 ended makes it one of the best performances in NBA history. There was talk about breaking up the big 3 going into that game.

He averaged 38.5/8/8 in the 2009 ECF. Had a huge game winner. I'm sure there was a game in that series that fits in his top 5.
