This is great. I was barely born when this started, but I know some of the players that were involved.

But to see folks like The Visor, Nate Newton, Reggie White, Corso, Charlie Stiener makes it really interesting.

Just think if this league would've have lived Steve Spurrier might have never went to Florida and may have never became the program they are now.

ESPN hit another home run with this documentary.

Three for three, so far. All of them have been outstanding. No reason to believe that next week's about Ali-Holmes in 1980 will be any different.

Amazed the poor ratings these have been getting, but ESPN has a habit of underpromoting their good stuff.

People would rather watch shitty shows like Sports Nation.

Documentaries rarely do well in any format

also, they haven't marketed the series well imo

I wasn't overly familiar, so it shocked me to see future NFL stars in the USFL. I'm probably in the minority on this, but I didn't know Sam Mills, Bobby Hebert and Jim Kelly played in the USFL.

You can add another Dome Patrol LB, Vaughn Johnson

Didn't realize they were doing poorly. Hate to see that. These have been fantastic.

that was the backbone of the Saints during the late 80s/early 90s- Jim Mora, Sam Mills, Vaughn Johnson, Bobby Hebert, Buford Jordan

Didn't Flutie also play in the CFL?

And isn't Steve Young still getting paid for his USFL contract?

I think starting with one about hockey, even if it is Gretsky and a very well done film, was a poor decision and didn't gain any momentum for the series

I have a tough time picturing Neuheisel as a professional QB. He reminds me of Conan O'Brien.

You think at the end of next year when they are all done with it, you can buy a set with all 30 on DVD?
