Great documentary.

Didn't know the league had such great talent. I knew Walker and Young played in the league, but didn't know about Flutie, White, Jim Kelly, etc.

And wtf @ Young still getting paid for his USFL contract.

Another good show last night.

How can people really be such a-holes and not care about anybody but themselves? I believe what the one man said about Trump, "He wanted an NFL team, and they wouldn't give him one, so he took an USFL team and then tried to either force their way into the NFL, or overtake the NFL because he didn't want to own a team in a 2nd rate league. He was way too aggressive. (However, I don't think his team was losing money like the other owners)

Also, I wonder if the fan that won the million dollars has started to get his payments yet? Wasn't it something like $25,000 for the next 40 years, starting in 20 years. That time should have started in about 2005.

Does ESPN ever replay these? And if so, when?

Recorded this last night...

Great doc. Really shows me how much of a "me first" a-hole Trump is. I guess that's what has made him successful, but frick.

Trump is partially responsible for the USFL's demise, but so was massive expansion way too quickly...

I was wondering why Trump was heralding Walker as the greatest football player of all time when he was a contestant on The Apprentice. I'd forgotten that Walker had played for Trump in the USFL.

I'd also totally forgotten that Bobby Hebert was a championship winner.

These docs are awesome.

this was an awesome doc. i was glued to it b4 i had to leave the house.
trump is a douche. thinks he is the the greatest human to ever walk the earth. pretty much his greed ruining the league seemed to be an outlining theme.
but young, kelly, flutie, walker, etc.. i had no idea these guys played in the usfl. didnt really know anything about this league much less that many superstars played in it.
heisman winners going to a non NFL league, almost hard to imagine.
they got payed well too. backup nfl qbs could go to the usfl and get better money than starting nfl qbs.

anybody know who were the big time players on the Philly team?? doc seemed to make it out like they were by far the most dominate/competitive team. that they could actually play with an nfl squad.
