Still a shite school. Can't imagine having to live in Ruston for 4 years. I'd probably prefer prison.

A shite school that provides good academics with a a great football product based on their athletic budget per year. GTFO with your shite posting! Too bad a Tech grad stole your ex....

Depends which you consider worse. In Ruston all the baws will be fricking your mom and your wife. In prison, they all just fricking you.

How did Dixon do last year? Also, I was thinking Woods would go earlier, maybe 4th round, congrats to him though. He's a very good player

shite school?

For their budget, they have one of the best academic reputations in the nation.

That school is always one of the top rated / lowest cost schools in the country.

The Ruston night scene is can be pure debauchery if you know where to look.

Now, would I want to live there - no.....but I could see many kids wanting to go there for a nice education.

and you would not prefer prison.....no matter how nice the prison is it still sucks - ask any legal counsel or family member that has to go visit.

He was a damn beast as a rook.

He got busted with PEDs I believe - 4 game suspension to start - but watching him run in the NFL in a joy.

Figured Woods would go higher. I guess us having the same number of players drafted makes sense with how close that game was last year lol. Your receivers drove me nuts.

I went to Tech as a student and athlete and I couldn't have asked for a better college experience. Ruston is a great place to spend a few years in your early twenties. As are most college towns. If you say otherwise, you either didn't go to school there or you did go to school there but weren't cool enough to make friends to get drunk and do stupid stuff with.

Or maybe just trolling I guess because Baton Rouge is clearly the only town in America where you can have a good time in college. I love LSU, but this weird elitist vibe you get sometimes from Baton Rouge people is puzzling considering what a disaster of a city BR in it's current state.

Atleast you won't get murdered, mugged, or raped like you would in most parts of BR

Sad that West Monroe High School had 2 players(Xavier Woods and Cam Robinson) drafted and neither went to LSU. Who is that on?

No doubt. I went to LSU and had a lot of friends that acted like this and it just made me cringe. I can understand just thinking your school is better and more fun but they'd act like BR is some awesome city when they haven't been more than 5 miles off campus in any direction. Ruston is a really nice town and tech is a great school. Sometimes the alums are kinda annoying but I always pull for the dawgs

I'll never understand the hatred across the state for any institution that is not LSU.

Congrats to my Dawgs! Those three were solid their entire careers. Henderson can make big plays and Taylor is the current prototypical slot guy, small white guy that can get YAC. Woods has been a beast the last two years+ and is a steal for Dallas.

I don't get the hate Ruston gets. Yes it's a smaller town but it has grown in recent years. Still a small town vibe downtown but near the interstate there is plenty of newer stuff to do. My boys love spending a weekend there and I would love them to attend Tech.

lol I missed that in my Year there. That said my Master's experience was nice and good value.

That said I commuted from Monroe so that was it's own hell

I always try to root for Tech, but whenever I got on boards too much LSU hate. Makes hard to follow to closely. I guess there is nothing wrong with Tech folks to dream big. Just makes it hard to exist on both planes.
