Wasn;t close to the right rule. He didn't lead with his head, hit with his shoulder and didn't target his head.
Absolute horrible call and this officiating crew should be demoted after the game.

Not the right call because the ball carrier lowered his head to initiate the helmet to helmet contact. The hit from the defender was aimed at the chest.

2. Even if there was some helmet t helmet contact the receiver was making a move and not defenseless.
3. If that is a penalty then every RB who runs through the line with his head down should be ejected for targeting.

That was total bullshite. PERFECT tackle. If anyone led with their head, it was the "defenseless" receiver that turned and lowered his head. Should have been no penalty and the kid damn sure should've stayed in the game. That crew should never officiated another game. Nebraska got screwed on several other calls as well.

While they were reviewing that call, the cameras showed Jim Mora saying something to #25 that made him laugh. I like to think he told him it was a bs call as well.
