I think having it now probably draws in more casual fans. As someone who would watch it regardless I’d rather have it in August personally

I do think having it now opens it up to being at some courses they normally wouldn’t consider because of the weather

Phil wins his 6th major a month from turning 51, and my favorite driver Chase Elliott got off the schneid today and won his first race of the season and will be in the playoffs to defend his championship.

More sour grapes by the biggest azz on tour, Brooks Koepka. That dude doesn't have a gracious bone in his body. Complaining, AT LENGTH, about the crowd hurting his knee was too much over the top. But enough of that loser.

Congrats Phil, one for the ages. That scene walking up the 18th really says it all. Golf needs a hero and this present group can play but they don't stir the masses the way Tiger Woods and Phil moved that meter.
