Seattle is an awesome city, however they do not have the hotels to hold enough for such an event.
According to this article the league requires the city to have 25,000 hotel room and King county has 34,000

For the record, I don't live in New Orleans, and I do my best to not even go there. Maybe a few times a year.

great music
Has absolutely nothing to do with the Super Bowl

Many writers have said the Super Bowl should just be in NOLA every year.
And so have many stupid NO fans, like yourself.

There's a reason it gets so many major events
As do other cities

Keep laughing, while it continues to get major sporting events.
I didn't say that it isn't a great city for events, but you make it sound as if it is the ONLY city worthy.
Quit being stupid.

NO can't keep the lights on. Should go back to NY.

I think when everything factors into it you can certainly make a case for it being the best place to host a Super Bowl.
Weather
Proximity to Hotels and the necessary amount of hotels needed
Lively and fun city
Great restaurants
Tourist friendly - the city is built on this
Miami is another great host, but they don't have the proximity to everything that New Orleans does
Chicago has the proximity to everything, but lacks the weather
Seattle is a fantastic city to be a host, but doesn't meant the hotel requirements
I'm not saying New Orleans is the best city in he country or anything like that, although it is my favorite. I'm saying with all things considered, it's the perfect mix of everything needed to host a major sporting event.

I never said it was the only city worthy, just that I think it's the perfect mix of everything needed to be a great host city. But continue to resort to name calling if that makes you feel better.

Miami is literally the only one I could see an argument for, but even then the Stadium is not close to everything else. Dallas was a fricking disaster. San Diego is a great location, terrible stadium.

You're personal opinion. A lot of people like milder weather. Others love sitting outside in a blizzard to watch football.

The NFL has a hotel number requirement and every location mentioned meets it. Proximity issues can be solved through public transportation. But I'd agree that closer is better.

Lively and fun city
Hard to come up with a category more subjective than that

Great restaurants
Not needed for the Super Bowl but every large city in America has great restaurants

What does this even mean? Sidewalks?

New Orleans is built on tourism. That's what keeps the city going. It's a great tourist city. Lots of history to it and culture. It's just different. I do realize there are other cities that offer similar, but I was throwing in aspects of the city that makes it a good spot to host.
I'm not sure if you've been there or not, but I'm guessing you had an awful time for some strange reason.

I've been and had a good time. I just think it's sad to want the Super Bowl to be in the same city all the time. This country has so many awesome cities and the NFL should embrace that. A Super Bowl in Seattle or Denver would kick arse. Even better in my opinion would be a Super Bowl in Green Bay during a snowstorm

San Diego is a great city, but the logistics of the stadium's location within the city are no better than Miami's

We also have the new airport opening in 2018. The lights thing is so stupid. It doesn't take 5 fricking years to fix. People who still use that excuse are desperate. It'll be fixed!

2. New Orleans isn't unique in being able to host a great Super Bowl. Seattle, San Francisco, Denver
San Francisco had the power go out last year too.
shite happens.
I would imagine the Superdome is less likely to have it happen againthan any other site due to it happening when it did.

You aren't thinking about adult fans with families - just kids partying.

Holy frick you people are retarded.

Not the people that go to Super Bowls. The media and the corporate people are the ones that come, and they don't want that.
Seriously, you have no clue what you're talking about. There is a reason why NOLA always gets Final Fours, MNCs, Super Bowls, All-Star Games, etc.
Its because it is GENERALLY CONSIDERED among the very best host cities there is.

Green Bay is the one NFL city that can be said with 100% certainty will never host a Super Bowl
