Every time I can't figure out how/why a guy is good, I go with movement/anticipation. It's all I can do with players like Goffin or Simon. Even though Murray is now a physical specimen with a great return and defense, I thought he was a pusher in the early part of his career with no weapons. So, I just figured he moves well and has a lot of variety.

See, but I get why Gilles Simon is good. Classic pusher, but Jesus dem wheels.

I think the thing with Zverev is I do keep forgetting he's 6'6".

He went out quietly against Monfils. I didn't see the end, maybe he just ran out of gas.

For those unfamiliar with battle bang, google it when you aren't at work.

Wow. I wonder where he goes from here. He was already playing a light schedule prior to the injuries. I wouldn't be surprised if he skips all clay tournies going forward.

Or retires.

I could see him doing a Kobe-style final season. Would be very much consistent with his level of smug.

Some nice matchups today, even for having Fed/Nadal/Murray out. I'm bummed I didn't make the trip to Toronto as I did the last two times the men played there.

Stan/Anderson.
Nishikori/Dimitrov.
Djokovic/Berdych.
Raonic/Monfils.

Pride's baw Ryno Harrison looked pretty solid this week. Took out Isner and played really well against Berdych. Hope he keeps up that form.

Anderson got demolished.

You can still head out there. The prices on StubHub aren't outrageous.

Monfils takes out Raonic. Looks like this thing about him finally taking the game seriously is for real.

Stan lost four set points against Nishikori, then tanked the second set. Djokovic and Monfils tonight.

Bryans out for Rio. This was probably their last Olympic chance too.

djoker's second serve has been his true achilles heel this year, if there's been a weakness, thatd be it.

monfils pretty much let him serve himself into a break.

Monfils can't possibly think he can out-Joker the Joker.

Men's tennis has gotten so boring. These guys aren't even competitive with Djokovic. Reminds me of the Federer era before Nadal came along.
