Don't follow them too closely but isn't Atlanta absolutely loaded at pitching? Or is that not the case anymore? Seems like one of those stud college outfielders who would be ready when the team is in 2017/2018ish makes a ton of sense

I don't care....i want Groome. I've already heard scouts are a little down on Kyle Lewis' bat motion. He's been compared to J Hey already...that and he has more strikeouts than games played, and that's at freaking Mercer. Frick that, give me another stud lefty arm!!!

Groome has more red flags than Lewis.

If Lewis is there for us, I'm almost sure we will take him.

Million dollar arm, ten cent head. Make up is a huge red flag on him.

I want the Cards to get a catcher if there is one appropriate to take in the first and a couple more pitchers with the other 2 1st rounders, maybe one college and one HS to spread them out.

Loaded with high upside? Yes, but not many sure things. Not a single guy in the minors right now that I can see starting for us next year.

I hope the Braves take either Groome or Pint. Lewis k rate at Mercer scares the crap out of me. I've heard rumors the Phillies will draft a cheaper player so they would have more money for their next pick.

Lewis strikes out less than the average college player.

Newcombe hasn't pitched well. Jenkins just got moved to the pen. More talking about our upper level pitching prospects failing this season.
