They actually had a little MSB convo earlier tonight. Shaq specifically brought up Whiteside and asked McHale "is he one of us?" McHale danced around and hinted he is lazy. Chuck was a bit more harsh and just basically said you can't depend on him for any consistency.

On Thursday, ESPN's Tom Haberstroh noted how incredible Curry's shooting was. Against the Wizards, Curry was averaging a whopping 2.4 points per possession.

"As crazy as it sounds, you're better off just fouling him," Haberstroh said. "Hack-a-Steph is a reality when he's scoring 2.4 points every time he shoots."

Haberstroh said that Curry, who shoots 91% from the free-throw line, averages 1.8 points when he shoots foul shots, so mathematically it would be a more sound strategy to just send Curry to the line.

'06-'07 Florida has 4 dudes who are like 10-year NBA vets.

I'd imagine that doesn't happen very often.

If curry had made that last shot, I was about to call the FCC and tell them to get this smut off the television

I'm surprised we haven't seen the Hack-a-Warrior yet.

Just foul Iguodala, foul Speights, foul Bogut, foul fricking anyone.

Yeah, they'll make 2 a lot. But it would take them out of rhythm, and also keep them from bombarding you with threes.

That's one game, surely it can't be anywhere close to a good idea in the long run.

Didn't seem like Speights was around in the league quite as long as the others.

The hack-a-whoever strategy just doesn't really work in general.

But, I mean, in a situation where the Warriors jump on you or are going on a big run and Steph/Klay are making everything, what's the harm? You gotta try something.

The Warriors average, what, 100 possessions a game? So obviously, statistically, the hack-a-shaq strategy is never the right play. But in terms of stopping a team's rhythm and flow when they're on a run, maybe it's worth a shot sometimes?
