If anyone hasn't watched Boise their scheme is amazing and they are so well coached. Should be fun against the option.

Their offensive execution is damn near flawless. Scheme wise it's about as good as it gets.

49-7 is pretty bad, but that's about right for this game.

It's been a nice 5 years since our last scare but its looking like we are going to have to deal with all the people crying for boise to get into the playoffs

They play absolutely nobody. I would say they will go undefeated and would need some of the P5 to beat each other up

Yeah I know but my point is how do you justify them jumping any P5 team with that shite schedule. They are pretty fricking good don't get me wrong, but obviously they are going to destroy the MWC. Put them in the Pac 12 where they at least play a few tough games a year.

Back the old days they played one name team, then the biggest challenge was Hawaii, Fresno State, and Nevada. The WAC was just really bad.

But ever since Utah, BYU, and TCU bailed the MWC is just as much of a joke. They don't deserve playoff consideration.

Like when they played Oregon? Traveled to play Jawja? They had a good bowl record too during that run and even some NFL talent. Would they have run the table in a P5? No. But they would've won some big games.

And that's awesome when you get a whole off season to prepare for that one game to open the season or that whole bowl period to prepare for your bowl game. The fact that people think schools like houston and boise should be rewarded for the schedules they play just perplexes me

Those 2009-2011 Boise State teams were really good and for real.

I think this year's team is good too. I think they are better than Houston. They just don't have the schedule to prove it. I don't think they deserve playoff consideration but if Boise State goes 13-0 and Houston is 12-1 it would be a travesty not to pick Boise State as the G5 NY6 rep

I'm not singling LSU out but who have they played in their first five games other than Wisconsin? I'll even throw my own team under the bus; they've played nobody that will finish in the top 25 yet unless Colorado goes on an absolute war path. It's not like these P5 teams have a grind game in and game out. If Boise St played Washington St, Auburn, and Iowa St in the weeks following a huge season opener, does that validate their schedule?

You know they're preparing for another team that is preparing to play them, right? Is Boise St the new Nick Saban of the CFB where if they get a month to prepare, odds are they win?

Or is it that it's a bunch of Idaho Potato farmers playing the biggest game of their life against a bunch of NFL prospects who don't give a shite to be there?

the grind is exponentially greater than what schools like boise have to go through. The no bodies that LSU has played in MSU, Auburn, mizzou, and what would have been Florida would destroy any 4 game stretch boise goes through

it would if that would be considered a down part of their schedule, but it wouldn't be.

I do think it's far easier for an underdog to upset a team if they are given over a month to prepare for that one game. If they played a best of 3 it probably wouldn't matter much

The weak schedule is the only problem with them. They will beat most teams by 30. They also play a bad OCC schedule this year (they usually don't). No doubt they could win in the playoffs, if they can get the opportunity.

They are the model of what a G5 program should try to do. They recruit really well and develop those players. They can go into Cali and get 4 star players. That's really legit.

Their opponent had the "whole offseason" to prepare for them as well.
Plus, Boise and Houston don't get p5 money.
