Me too, that's why the U.S. open is my favorite major, makes the pros look bad like i do all the time.

-2 on Friday
It's just a guestimate. I'm not holding my breath about the rain not coming down. A lot of these guys are gonna be playing some of these holes for the first time.
Should be an interesting week.

I think they are going to have to have the rough at nuclear proportions to combat the likely slow sticky greens. the course is set up at under 7K yards which means a lot of guys can hit hybrids and woods off the tees to keep in play and still go after some pins with mid-irons if need be.

Is it too early to start complaining about Chris Bermann (sp), aka fatty Mcfatterton?
He sucks as a golf announcer. Pretty much ruined the last one.

At a golf course it shouldn't have been in the first place softened up, it's going to be just a regular tour event that double digits under par wins

no! it raises my expecations. I loved the 20009 championship at Bethpage Black when Glover came out on top. Ricky Barnes was in the lead most of that tournament. Ricky Fricking Barnes baby.

Has anyone played Merion CC? I have played it with my uncle when I visit Philly but it has been a few years.
