Redstick, did you ever get a chance to look at that company?

Went well today. It will take some adjusting to the 8-6 schedule, but it'll be alright. Tomorrow is when I should actually find out some more important info.

Man, I've really wanted to. I should have gotten back to you by now.

I had finals and a semester-long research project that were immediately followed by bar prep. With the exception of just some dicking around trading, I haven't had much time at all for really digging into anything. I've tried a couple times, but never get far before I start feeling guilty for not doing bar stuff. And the last thing I want to do is give you some half-arse opinion.

I honestly think I'll have more free time once work starts than I have now.

Nah, just messing around. It was literally 10 hours of orientation. It's a REALLY big company so they make you sit through all this employee HR stuff, and then in the afternoon we were essentially lectured on what it is we were actually going to be doing on the clinical side (i'm doing healthcare consulting).

Just got back. Not too bad. Normally intro stuff w/ meetings w/ all the different product arms (IB, secs, am, etc).

Sounds suspicious. Reminds me of something called pledgeship where everyone is super nice until all of the preliminary stuff is wrapped up.

Did anyone in your class show up wearing anything ridiculous? No French cuffs or anything like that, eh? There's got to be one guy at least who just doesn't get it yet.

We were called "useless bitch monkeys" a few times by some MDs so no one was hiding their true self. No, no one really stepped out there today.

What is your exposure to M&A?

Law? Banking? Accounting?

I'm guessing its not banking since there is no way he would have knocked out his 63 & 79 in this short of time to be staffed on deals.

There are several of these printed out and hanging on the walls around our desk in the bullpen.

Actually for a soon to be Fortune 200 corp.

Small department, but allows for more involvement and pretty much only deal with VP's & up.

Already hammered through too many bankers books to care. (Hope fully will parlay into IB)
