Yeah, that's what everyone says. I'm keeping the glass half full until I need to reassess though.

Why in the hell do ya'll want to work jobs that require 80-110 hours of work a week?

I mean, I'll do those weeks once or twice a year, but the majority of the time I'm on 40-45hrs...

That only leaves you 9 hrs./day for females/drinks/sleep. Good luck prioritizing those things

I'm just going to sleep w/ whatever free time I have

Golf- combination of factors make the hours doable- its what I want to do, required for the job regardless of the firm and the pay is nasty.

All that, plus you get to say "damn it feels good to be a banker".

Yeah, but when they retire at 45 with 5 million in the bank, they will be the one's laughing.

This is my favorite. Bankers vs. Consultants

Alone. Because your wife and kids left you because you were never home, amirite?

Just not for me. I enjoy being able to leave the office at 2 if I need to or show up at 10...

The cab driver told me the high was in the hundreds for tomorrow. I probably won't be doing much tourist stuff, but I have been to DC before.

It's a 2-3 year commitment, then you can go and pick your job. You have to understand how sick most of us are with finance, though. I never stop talking about it.

Same as what A said. It's what I love. I'm young and unmarried. Pay is more than what I'd be making working the same hours as a brand new attorney at a large firm. And exit opportunities if and when you become ready to chill out a little bit are plentiful.
