Anyone else getting in? I just got an email alert my limit order was executed at $101, curious to see when/if my next limit order gets executed at $99.

I've been trying to add more of energy component to my Roth over the course of this year beginning mid March, with these quasi-DCA limit orders.

I didn't think the fund would fall below a 52 week low so quickly, my yearly allocation of limit orders ($7,200 for the next 12 months) is nearly executed. I'll decide if I add to the established position further if the $99 order gets executed.

Is anyone else moving into VDE? Thoughts on next moves are welcome, serious and sarcastic replies alike are welcome.

I'll start: I'm not quite an OT baller yet, as I have to buy the ETF instead of the Admiral shares with the $100K minimum, but want to add energy to my portfolio.

35, married, high risk tolerance, 30+ year horizon. Been a Vanguard follower since college, hold other Vanguard indexes concurrently in my Roth over last 12 years. Thanks!

I see it going down a good bit further before it starts to go up.

I moved $5,500 to my Vanguard roth account for this exact fund. Haven't pulled the trigger yet. Been watching it creep down. Will add $3,000 if it dips below $100

I think picking your own basket of stocks for this sector is a better way to play it. The bad stocks in the ETF could really drag down performance in this type of challenging environment.

I'll take a look. It's likely buried.

I got in December 5, 2008 @ $57.94 and should have sold last year. Scary times back then. I have bought some MLPs this week.

I moved a sizable chunk of my Roth IRA (as well as the incoming allocation percentage) into VGENX recently. Would there be any reason to look at the VDE ETF over the mutual fund?
