Down almost 20% today after the earnings release. Any one here have any knowledge they want to drop on this stock? Is this a buying opportunity? How much further would it have to drop for you to consider picking up some?

I tried low balling at $39.75 when it went out of play. Came back at under $39 but I didn't get in. I like it closer to $40 but I don't see it getting there again. It's popping up after hours a bit - hovering $42.75ish.

I'd like to think I'm an astute stock watcher if nothing else...I'd buy TWTR at $39 and sell it at $51, every time. Wash, rinse, repeat.

I've done this twice. My portfolio took a hit today with the tank. Think I'm going to double down.

Yep, I like this program.

I jumped into WYNN for a longer term ride today. Poor numbers and just cut the dividend but it's a bet on Macau coming back. Steve Wynn is pretty astute. At 73 he's still got plenty in his tank.

Hovering around 40 this morning. Might test the waters and buy some then just sell when it recovers

Well, I'm in this stinker for good or bad now. But I did go in gently and I'm already happy that I was cautious.

When did you go in? At how much? Glad I held off this morning. Still dropping. Looks like it'll touch 38 before the day is over.

However, I will jump in once I believe it has reached rock-bottom. I think Twitter isn't going anywhere and has proven itself. It has really become the platform for which all things news, politics, and culture break.

You might want to read some commentary by the young founder of snapchat Evan Speigal about these social media tech startup stocks.

They're simply momentum plays now. No growth investors, at some point a solid correction is on the horizon.

I realize you guys are part of the momentum, just be careful and don't get your arse handed to you. The forward PE ratios out there are getting dangerously high.

Some kind of correction is coming. Not a bust but I think a 15-20% correction is reasonable. I'm getting out of a lot of positions and getting ready to buy when that happens.

I'll likely put in a GTC buy around $35-$36, depending on what I see with respect to volume and price action tomorrow. But when earnings time approaches again, I'll be long gone. I have lost all faith in the TWTR team to be able to execute or even communicate.

If it never dips to where I'll put my order in, I won't care. TWTR is a dog with fleas right now. But once it gets kicked down low enough, it may be good for a quick bounce trade. The only way I'd want to own it for more than a week or two is if I thought Costolo was going to be crossing a busy highway at rush hour.
