What is you profession and what are your hobbies? I generate extra income through consulting within the same field as I work and have expensive dog sports habits that I have turned into income by becoming a judge.

Do you have past employers you can assist by part time work? My company has hired several past employees to help with peak work loads. We know them, they know us and are already trained and trusted.

Sell covered calls.
No actual risk of losing money.
Only risk of losing upside gains.

I made about 4k in 5-6 weeks delivering for Uber in spring of 2022.

Can be a good way to add a little cash to the portfolio.

Can also be very tax inefficient in a taxable account though.

I make UGC ads. People pay me $70-150 to record 15-60 second videos about their product / service. I usually bring in 1500-2000 a month on this.

I placed 4 vending/combo machines in the past 6 months. Easy work if you have some quality made machines

There’s still ways you can lose money.

Buy into a stock at $10 share price. Price dips to $8 and you sell a covered call at a strike of $9. Good news pushes the stock above $9 again before the call’s exp date. You’re coming out on a loss on that, unless you had managed to sell a few covered calls that expired out the money before one finally got exercised

Or you buy back the call option for a small loss and try again, this time with a higher strike price on the call option.

There is always risk. The underlying stock could drop in value (but you hold that risk either way by holding the stock).
Risk of limited upside - just be sure you are willing to sell the stock or be ready to buy that call option back for a loss.

You’d lose money on your overall position at the point if the premium was cheap enough.

No one has ever lost an actual dollar on the sale of covered calls themselves.

Yeah 1.2 mil is about what you would need to get 2k a month in Div's only investing in high quality stocks/etf's.
