This is absolute frickery with APPS. Beats EPS by $0.05, outstanding y-o-y growth, increased guidance, and it drops 18%. It was trading mostly in the $70-90 range earlier in the year. MM controlling the price here.

EPS would have to be $1.00 for it to increase. The last year of returns have ruined perspective.

Generally best to wait a few days after earnings tankings. APPS also has important AVWAPs a few points below that it will likely bounce from.

Global restocking is far exceeding the available global tonnage, so rates are at all-time records. The order book for new containerships is extremely limited until 2023, so the high rates aren't going anywhere soon.
I don't have a bunch of time this morning but there is a lot more I can go into later on. My cost average in ZIM is $37 but I went heavy into 12/17 $55 calls yesterday. I also played the MATX earnings yesterday using the above logic and it worked out very well. I expect the ZIM earnings to be upwards of $10 share for Q3 and even better for Q4.
I am going to be watching the EGLE earnings today AH. Not crazy about the chart & insider selling, so I am not playing this one. However, I am bullish on dry bulk shipping with the massive increase in demand for iron, copper, cement, coal, etc. Dry bulk shipping has the lowest orderbook in a long long time as well.

ROKU and PENN getting absolutely crushed.
