My FB stock is up 25% over the last year or so.

AAPL although is struggling. I may move it to FB once I break even.

Good job with your FB success. What were your original reasons for wanting to buy FB? What opportunities do you see down the road that made it seem like a compelling buy for you?

It was called Investment Psychology Explained, by Martin Pring. I read it back in the mid 90's, but it still might be available. I thought it was a very interesting read. And even though I'm aware of the psychological pitfalls involved when trading and investing, I still catch myself doing bad things more often than I'd like to admit.

Its not that I need it to. I just said that I may move it. I do understand your point.

Thanks. I just downloaded it as a free pdf. Hopefully I can read it soon.

Bought puts on uso before inventory reports. Ouch I was lucky to get out with only .06 loss. Went long calls and held some, but probably should have bought the shares.

XOM and CVX are going to open up pretty low today. Disappointing earnings release

Shorted at the open and covered eod. Anywhere in this price range is probably a good long term buy.

Bought nflx to hold

And the market is only a few percentage points off of all time highs...scary to think if/when a big correction hits, just how flooded the streets will be with that blood

Bump. Anyone familiar with or hold a position in POT? It's been hit hard by the economic decline in China as well as some new Canadian tax codes. Still...the largest fertilizer company in the world with a 26-year dividend history. I'll be tracking this one...anyone with an opinion?

For the reasons I stated, or something else?

Sorry, was referring to SPX. Overall markets going lower next few months imo with strong short-term rallies (short covering)

I'm familiar with the company and have had it on my dividend list in the past.

Sounds like you're bearish on it currently?

I held it as a dividend play for a couple of years. I think I bought it around 30 and sold it in the mid 30's when the fundamentals began breaking down. Sorry, I can't speak to it now. I haven't kept up since then.
