That makes sense. He just had it installed a little over a year ago, and it's the first pool he's had, so he's still pretty green at it.

So the concensus regionally seems to be weekly cleanings that run $35-$55 per week.

This price per week includes skimming, scrubbing and maintenance chemicals?

Any elaboration on the weekly cleanings that some of you receive will be appreciated.

Thank you all for the responses in this thread. Im not sure if I will ever put this into action but it is very interesting at the moment.

Yes, in my situation - all of those above as well as vacuuming and cleaning pool filter, when necessary.

Our pool is freshwater. Back washed weekly also with DE added to the filter. Vacuuming, skimmers cleaned, chlorine tabs and chemicals if needed to balance. We have a Polaris that runs 12 hours a day.
